discovering Naturopathic care
After a long time of struggling to overcome some debt and accumulate some savings, I had finally saved enough money to seek out a naturopath’s assistance. I had previously had a friend who recommended one help my mother to manage her symptoms when my mom was doing chemo for breast cancer. So I called up his office and his receptionist told me that they couldn’t accept patients that late in the year…
I exclaimed “oh no what am I going to do” and started to cry, I believe. She asked me to explain my situation. After I did, she said she would help me. I will forever be grateful for her response to my story “Nobody should ever feel like their doctor wont listen to them”
I cut sugar out and replaced it with honey and maple syrup. I started juicing and taking some supplements. I cut my hair yearly at my scalp and then cut the inch closest to my head to send in to a lab to see what my heavy metals and stuff were like over the last several months before the test… I started taking NDF drops to release the heavy metals and developed a plan to quit smoking cigarettes.
Every little thing I did helped me in a very small way. When I saw small gains, it helped me maintain my good habits. Knowing I was getting somewhere, being strong, when others might have decided to just accept and live in their pain… I still felt nuts with people telling me that after asking for my story… Why did they all have such awful advice? What is wrong with the herd, seriously?
Anyway after a while, my naturopath said he could perform a procedure called Neuro Cranial Restructuring on me to try and relieve the pressure I was feeling in my cranium. The idea is that if we can equalize the head, since all comes out of the skull, the body will follow… It is accessible so deep within the health care system that it might as well be inaccessible. But he could do it for me. So that’s what i will tell you about in the next post.
